Tempe Urban Living

Tempe Urban Living featured fifteen units of residential houses. The houses are designed as modern Tri-level units with an open stairwell that connects all the levels. The stairwell is also functioned as a light shaft where a large skylight catchs the light for the dwelling units. The units are completed with the semi enclosed roof top terraces for more spaces where the vistas of the city’s skyline are framed.
The house units are designed in open-plan, uncomplicated and feature solar shading, energy efficient mechanical systems, enhanced day-lighting and minimalist Architectural detailing. The design boasts the modern minimalist architecture by combining the extensive Italian tile surfacing, Italian kitchens and cabinets, European appliances and plumbing fixtures. The building is simple in form and material. The exterior featured the exposed sand blasted masonry contrast with the brightly colored exterior “rain screen” cement board cladding.
